The first camp took place in 1957 as a family camp of Chinese Bible Church (now known as Bay Area Chinese Bible Church) as a way to retreat from the hectic life in the city and to reconnect with God at a deeper level. As CBM planted more churches, the camp ministry adopted its new focus to invest in the lives of the young people. Today, more than two hundred hundred graduated 5th-12th grade students attend the weeklong camps especially designed for them. All praise and glory to the Lord as we witness the students’ decisions to place their faith in Jesus Christ and to dedicate their lives to serve Him.
