We want CBM Camps to be a place where all will be safe and protected to learn God’s Word, to be spiritually challenged and to make good friends. We encourage you to use words and behavior that will encourage and edify others. CBM Camp requires all campers to adhere to the rules and conduct policy. Violation of any part of this policy will result in notification of parents and possible expulsion from camp. Any violation of any of the policies must be reported to directors and/or camp pastor. All campers and parents must read and agree to this policy to attend CBM Camps.

Drugs/Alcohol: I acknowledge the possession and/or consumption of alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, or any other drugs or drug paraphernalia are prohibited. THIS YEAR'S THEME

"Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9

Think about one or two things in your life right now that you absolutely cannot live without. Have you wondered why you can’t live without them? It turns out the stuff that we think we can’t live without is only temporary. They give us joy until they don’t. Then what do we do? We find something else and that thing gives us a temporary feeling of joy - it’s actually a cycle of unhappiness. How can we find joy when it seems like nothing around us lasts? Dare I say the answer is Jesus Christ. But how? Let’s learn together at CBM Camp!

SPEAKERS

High School Camp Speaker - Theo Low

Theo was born and raised in San Francisco. During High School, he felt the desire to pursue full-time ministry. Striving towards that goal Theo attended the The Master’s University and then went on to get his Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. He now serves as the Children’s Pastor at San Francisco Bible Church. When he is not doing ministry, he spends his time hanging out with his wife and kids. Together they enjoy rooting for bay area sports teams, collecting sneakers, Pokemon cards, and Funko Pops.

Middle School Camp Speaker - Matt Ng

Matt was born and raised in San Francisco and now serves in the college ministry at Grace Community Church in Los Angeles. Matt and his wife Kimmie have three boys and a girl, and they are all avid Warriors, Giants, and 49ers fans, even though they live in Dodgers territory. When he was a junior higher, Matt liked Sour Patch Kids, Mountain Dew Code Red, baseball, and fishing. He also spent lots of time in the basement youth group room at SFBC jamming with his friends, playing hide and seek, and being the elephant in the Zoo game. Having gone to CBM Camp as both a camper and as a counselor, Matt is excited to be at camp this year to be a part of what God is doing in students’ lives.

Workshops

+ *More Than A Song (Tu/W)

What makes the worship service good? Thoughtful instrumentation? Creative arrangements? Excellence in skill sets? Or is it much more? Whether you are a part of a worship team or just love worship, come see what we need to think through in our worship services as we seek to glorify God together in song!

+ *More Than A Flex: Boasting In Christ (Tu/W)

Are you often overwhelmed with stress and anxiety while trying to meet society's expectations? Are you constantly striving for good grades, more likes and followers on social media, and impressing others with your achievements? However, there is a better way to live. By surrendering everything to Christ, you can find strength in your weaknesses and live with a purpose through the cross.

+ *More Than A Passion: Addictions (Tu/W)

Admit it. You’ve had that thought pop into your head, “Just one more.” Just one more peek at the number of interactions on my social media apps. Just one more round of gaming. Just one more video to watch along the rabbit trail. Just. One. More. And yet, it rarely ends at just one more and soon we wonder where the time has gone and what have we been doing with our lives. The truth is, we’re all being controlled, influenced, and formed by something, but is that something helping or hurting us? Come see what the Bible has to say about what should be in control of our lives.

+ *More Than Fire Insurance: How to Grow and Change (Th/F)

Have you ever got caught up in something that you know you should not do, but you do it anyway? No matter how hard you try, you seem to be stuck doing the same things. Is there hope for change? Absolutely! Come discover how God helps us both grow and change!

+ *More Than Friends: What is Love? (Th/F)

We all crave love. We want to be loved. For some of us, there is a strong interest in giving our love to others. But what is love and how does it affect our approach to relationships? Let’s explore God’s wonderful plan for love!

+ *More Than A Religion: Christianity v Other Religions (Th/F)

Whether you've grown up in church, started attending with your friends, or don't attend yet--you may wonder, "why Christianity?" What makes Christian faith stand out, set apart, from the countless other religions we see around us? How does the truth of the Bible compare to that of other texts? The best way to understand more is to learn about how Christianity compares, and exceeds, the beliefs of this world.
