SPEAKERS
High School Camp Speaker - Chris Gee
Pastor Chris was raised in Castro Valley and then moved to LA to attend UCLA where he studied mass communication and English. Chris then attended The Master’s Seminary and earned his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching.
Chris and his wife Linda met in college, developed butterflies in their stomachs for each other on a mission trip to Japan, enjoyed an awkward moment of Chris asking Linda out at a seafood restaurant, and then were married in 2011. They now have three spunky and rambunctious sons—Nathaniel, Jordan, and Owen. With three boys, Chris and Linda’s house is full of fun, excitement, and broken furniture.
Chris enjoys rooting for the Warriors, rooting against Lebron, and playing Super Smash Brothers. He also plays volleyball and basketball, though these days, the goals are simply to get some cardio in and not get injured.

Middle School Camp Speaker - Daniel Chan
Daniel Chan has been a pastor at Redeemer Bible Fellowship in Mountain View, California since 2011. He met his wife Kelly at UCLA where Daniel earned a degree in Business-Economics. After graduation, Daniel worked for several years in the finance and accounting industry before earning his M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary. Daniel is a UCLA sports fan and loves to play basketball and read, but his greatest passions are spending time with his wife and three children (Connor, Micah, and Katelyn), teaching God’s Word, and serving His people.

Workshops
The Gender Debate: What Does God Say? (Tu/W)
The Bible teaches that God created mankind as male and female, with two distinct genders representing humanity. In contrast, the world suggests that gender is more complex, with many identities to consider. Why is this such a hot topic? Don’t we each have the right to define our own identity? Join us for an eye-opening workshop where we dive into what God's Word really says about gender and sexuality!
Self-Image and Other’s View of Me (Tu/W)
We often understand the world around us by the way we see things. You may choose one product over another because of the way its packaging looks. You might choose clothes based on how they make you look. But what about when it comes to people: have you seen others treated differently based on how they look? Do you think about how others look at you? In this workshop, we’ll be exploring what the Bible teaches on how we should handle other’s view of ourselves, and ultimately what is most important when it comes to our identity and who we are!
Submitting to God's Authority (Tu/W)
Our hearts are prone to self-reliance. And oftentimes this need for control is born out of fear and doubt. Once we understand God's nature and God's heart, we slowly begin to see that submitting to God's authority is actually the best thing we could ever do with our lives. And oh what joy it is to follow our Lord and King!
Discovering Joy in Suffering (Th/F)
The Bible speaks of how Jesus endured ultimate suffering on the cross and despised the shame for the JOY that was set before Him. As we look to Jesus, let us consider how we too can have the joy of the Lord in the midst of tough times and suffering.
Unmute With Purpose / Taming the Tongue (Th/F)
Words carry weight—and the Bible reminds us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21). Are you a "yapper?" Do you spend too much time obsessing over the latest "lore drop" or freshly spilt "tea?" Together, we’ll explore the impact our speech has on our relationships and our spiritual growth. Whether you struggle with harsh words, want to build others up more effectively, or simply desire to speak with more purpose and grace, this workshop will equip you with the biblical tools to see God can transform how you think and speak towards others.
Godly Man / Godly Woman (Th/F)
One of our most popular workshops is back! This workshop is split by gender to really focus in on the unique challenges and joys of each group. Come here from faithful men and women who have walked ahead to share with and encourage you as you seek to follow Jesus according to His wonderful purpose and design.
