For college students, recent graduates or in career transition, spend 4-6 weeks in Taiwan to experience the culture, assist a new church plant in reaching out to the local community, and help with the short-term projects.

Explore Your Role in the Story of God’s Glory
Missionally minded Christians who love the Lord and desire to share Jesus with others.
Teachable, Flexible, Team Player
Willing to learn about others, and Open to try new things and meet new people.
Has valid passport to travel to Taiwan.
Minimum age 18.
Mandarin speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
Individual applications will be accepted from November 1, 2023 - January 31, 2024. Submit one personal application form and two references forms (one must be from a pastor or spiritual mentor).
Churches may bring a team of up to 12 participants. Submit a church application packet, along with individual application for each team member. Contact stm@cbmglobal.org for more information.
Mission team members must be able to attend the entirety of the program from June 27 - July 9, no exceptions for late arrival, early departure, or mid-trip excursions.
Confirmation of acceptance to the mission team will be completed by February 15. Those applying individually and not as part of a church partnership will also be contacted for an interview.
All short-term project team participants will be expected to participate in pre-trip training and preparations. Expect to be challenged in:
Expanding your missional perspective and cross-cultural mindset. Exercise adaptability in a cross-cultural setting.
Building teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
Sharing your spiritual gifts and serving together with others from different backgrounds.
Growing spiritual discernment of your role in the story of God’s glory. Watch for how God is shaping, equipping, and transforming you through this STM journey. Pray purposefully for those you will be ministering to.
Individual participants will attend 4 online group training sessions prior to the trip.
Church Teams will arrange their own pre-field training schedule, with materials provided by CBM.
All participants will engage in preparing materials and activities for the camp prior to arrival in Taiwan.
