50plus Retreat
October 27-30, 2025
Mt. Hope Bible Campground
9721 Mt Hope Road, Forbestown, CA 95941
Welcome
Join us at Mt. Hope Bible Campground near Oroville, California, for a meaningful and memorable gathering. This beloved site—where many of us attended CBM Camp as youth—offers the perfect setting to reconnect, reflect, and renew our faith.
Theme: Hope for the Future
In a world marked by rising uncertainty, global tension, and social division, how can our Christian faith provide clarity and hope? This year’s theme invites us to explore how God’s unchanging truth can guide us through personal and societal challenges with confidence and peace.
Keynote Speaker: Pastor PeterWang
Pastor Peter immigrated from Taiwan at age 14 and later responded to God’s call to ministry while studying at UC Berkeley. Over the past 20 years, he has served as a pastor, church planter, and leader in global missions. He currently serves as Executive Director of Chinese Bible Mission and interim Senior Pastor of Bay Area Chinese Bible Church. Peter holds degrees from Western Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Ann—a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist—have been married since 1998 and have a daughter, Ava, a student at UC Davis. Outside of ministry, Peter enjoys skiing, wing foiling, ultimate Frisbee, strategy games, and martial arts films.
